SoR Students' and New Professionals' Confidence Series

Supporting you to be confident as you grow

As you progress through your educational and career pathway, building competence, skills and knowledge, this series will focus on supporting you to be confident as you grow. Spanning a full academic year, these monthly sessions will provide something for every level – whether you are a first year student or a Band 5 radiographer.

Join us as we work on building confident foundations and prioritising self care and wellbeing, increasing confidence in the clinical environment, managing conflict, working with the impostor voice and becoming a confident leader.

Registration is free for SoR members and open to all students and new professionals.

This content will be specific to the student journey and include sharing of advice and experiences by newly qualified radiographers. It is aimed at students and Band 5 radiographers at the beginning of their journey, and their comfort to speak freely and ask questions is our primary concern. If you are a member of the established workforce and would like us to run webinars on a similar theme, please email conferences@sor.org.

Building confident foundations

Webinar
Monday 9 October 2023

This session takes us right back to the core of confidence building. Do you recognise confidence? How does it feel to you? We look at assessing your self-confidence and identifying the barriers associated with it. We will also discuss the importance of taking positive steps, harnessing discomfort and celebrating achievements.

This is the first session in our Students and New Professionals Confidence Series, and we highly recommend attending this webinar or watching the recording before progressing on to the remaining sessions in the series.
