Members of the SoR are invited to virtually attend the Annual Delegates Conference 2025, for a chance to help shape the strategic direction of the SoR and the radiography profession.

Taking place from Monday 28 April to Wednesday 30 April 2025 in London, the conference will bring together 200 members including regional representatives, regional and national officers and UK Council.

It deals with current issues within the radiography profession or matters of personal importance to members.

Training course | Theoretical and practical principles of Cardiac CT Acquisition

Thursday 12 June – Friday 13 June 2025

The Royal Brompton Hospital is delighted to present a bespoke two-day intensive training programme designed to equip radiographers with a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical principles of Cardiac CT acquisition. This long-running course is delivered by a faculty of highly experienced specialists and is specifically tailored for candidates with limited or no prior experience in Cardiac CT imaging.

Programme structure

Participants will benefit from an expertly curated curriculum, featuring:

  • Specialist-led lectures exploring core theoretical concepts.
  • Small-group seminars fostering in-depth discussion and interactive learning.
  • Practical hands-on training sessions/live scanning introducing Cardiac CT image acquisition.

Upon completion, attendees will have gained essential knowledge and have a fundamental understanding of the technical aspects required to perform Cardiac CT imaging and to implement a Cardiac CT service.

The registration fee of £700 includes full access to all lectures, seminars and practical sessions, as well as a complimentary copy of the Oxford Specialist Handbook in Cardiology: Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days.
