Part of the Student Series

Challenging Unwanted Behaviours in the Workplace

Virtual event
Monday 15 May, 19:00-20:00

Clinical placement can often be a demanding time in your studies. However, it should also be an exciting, rewarding and safe place to develop your skills. Your learning experience is a vital part of your radiography journey, so join us as we help you to identify and safely challenge discrimination, bullying and harassment. We’ll give an overview of employee rights, the policies surrounding unacceptable behaviours and talk you through reporting pathways as well as the support available from the SoR as your trade union.

Part of the New Professionals’ Series

Unblurring the Lines of Professionalism

Virtual event
Monday 12 June, 19:00-20:00

We are expected to uphold excellent standards of performance, conduct and ethics, however, sometimes the concept of “professionalism” can feel difficult to define for our newly qualified workforce.

This session will outline the parameters of professional behaviours in the workplace and provide a comprehensive breakdown of current HCPC/SoR guidance, including advice from SoR officers on how to deal with real-life scenarios. As always, we will include plenty of time for your questions and we’ll signpost additional support at the end of the session.
