The link to this online webinar series can be found here.

The webinars include:

1. Empowering Radiography Support Workers

Designed for those involved with the radiography support workforce – radiography assistants, assistant practitioners, radiographers, practice educators, service managers, radiology or radiation therapy nurses and AHP workforce leads – this webinar provides the latest updates.

It is designed to inspire the development of the vital roles of support workers and assistant practitioners, laying a foundation for the future of radiography.

2. Exploring Career Pathways

This webinar is part of the Students’ and New Professionals’ Employability Series, in collaboration with Skilled Personnel.

The session provides attendees with an overview of career pathways within radiography, highlighting the diverse roles available across the various areas: clinical (public and private), academia and industry.

Participants learn about role extension and ways in which they can increase their scope of practice in various sectors and how future trends, such as artificial intelligence, are shaping the industry.

3. Networking as a Career Catalyst: Building Connections for Success

This webinar is part of the Students’ and New Professionals’ Employability Series, in collaboration with Skilled Personnel.

The session focuses on the power of networking as a tool for career development and how radiographers must utilise social media, not only to improve their own online presence, but to create greater awareness of radiography as a profession.

Listeners are taught practical strategies to build and sustain professional relationships and create impactful profiles on professional social networking sites such as LinkedIn and the Skilled Personnel Network.

It also aims to demonstrate how leveraging connections can help uncover hidden opportunities. Real-world examples of successful career networking are shared, and participants are given valuable exercises to practice their networking skills.
