‘We should all reflect on professionalism, at every level’: meet Rachel Nolan, the 89th president of the Society and College of Radiographers
The incoming SoR president reveals her plans for the society’s work over the coming year
Throughout her 30-year career, Rachel Nolan has seen how fast radiography can change. As she takes on the role of president of the Society and College of Radiographers, she hopes to support radiographers in meeting the many challenges facing the profession.
“I feel immensely proud to be here,” she says. “I’m excited and a little bit nervous – but I think that’s to be expected, because we all have a bit of impostor syndrome. It’s something I would never have dreamed of doing; however, I like the challenge!”
Members of the SoR and the wider healthcare landscape came together to celebrate Rachel’s inauguration as SoR president at the Cambridge Museum of Zoology on Wednesday 1 July.
